Result: Charges dropped

Our client required a forensic investigation to review the categorisation of indecent images subjected to charge on two computers. During our digital forensic examination, we found the images subjected to charge to not truthfully correspond to the guidelines provided by the Sentencing Council. Further detailed analysis of the images revealed watermarks to be present detailing the origin website. The website was found to state that all their models were over the age of eighteen. After serving our expert witness report detailing our findings all charges were dropped.

Our client required a forensic investigation to review the categorisation of indecent images subjected to charge on a mobile phone. After reviewing the images subjected to charge we found over 75% of them to not truthfully correspond to the guidelines provided by the Sentencing Council. After serving our expert witness report detailing our findings the charges against the defendant were significantly lowered.
